Swimming Pool and Gymnasium
A large gymnasium and Olympic-size heated swimming pool is the hub of the physical education programme.
Other sporting facilities at the Claremont campus include two ovals, grass and artificial cricket nets, tennis courts and a rowing shed on the Swan River. The School makes use of facilities at the Royal Perth Yacht Club for its nationally-recognised sailing programme. In addition, the School owns 20 acres of ovals at Mt Claremont, a short distance from the Claremont campus.
Community Hours of Operation
The swimming pool and gymnasium are available for use by old boys, current staff, current parents of CCGS students and their immediate families during the following hours. Please note, these hours are subject to change, depending on the needs of the students and our teaching programme.
Gymnasium
To gain entry to the School Gymnasium, parents need to show their 2009 yellow identification tag (available from School Reception) and old boys will be required to show their life membership badge.

Tuesday and Friday: 6.00am – 6.45am
Monday to Thursday: 5.15pm - 8.00pm
Swimming Pool
TERMS 1 AND 4
Monday to Friday: Two lanes are available from 5.15pm – 7.00pm
Saturday: 7.00am - 6.00pm
Sunday: 12.00pm - 6.00pm
TERMS 2 AND 3 / SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Monday to Friday: 5.30am - 7.30am, 5.00pm - 7.00pm
Saturday: 7.00am - 6.00pm
Sunday: 12.00 noon - 6.00pm
The swimming pool is closed between 8.00pm Saturdays to 12.00pm Sundays to fulfil Health Regulations 2007 and the Code of Practice (Aquatic Facilities). Please note: During this time the application of certain chemicals make it unsuitable for swimming and trespassing at this time may result in prosecution.
