The Harriott Family Memorial Scholarship
The Harriott Family Memorial Scholarship is a memorial to the family of former student John Frederick Harriott (1959-1963). The scholarship will be offered to a boy entering the first year of Senior School and will be awarded by taking into account a family's financial circumstances. Applications for this scholarship will be accepted in 2010 for a boy entering Christ Church in 2011.
John's parents (deceased) Frederick Charles Harriott and Violet Rose Harriott, made a large financial sacrifice and denied themselves many material belongings to meet the cost of John's schooling. John's wife Lynlee Rae Harriott (deceased) shared her husband's admiration for the values of the School.
