The Old Boys' Association Scholarship for Year 7, 2011

The Old Boys' Association Scholarship will be awarded to the son or grandson of a Christ Church Grammar School Old Boy entering the Senior School in Year 7 in 2011.

Boys are required to sit the ACER scholarship examination. Click on the ACER Examination link to your right for more information.
The scholarship has a value of 50% of the school fees and is tenable for six years.

It is principally based on academic ability, however the applicant’s general character, his capacity to benefit from the opportunities offered by Christ Church and his ability and enthusiasm to make a worthwhile contribution to the School, are taken into account.

Boys are required to sit the ACER examination and to write a formal letter of application to the Headmaster describing his particular talents and his family’s links to Christ Church. He is also required to submit a copy of his latest school report and a brief account of his academic, sporting and co-curricular achievements over the past 12 months. This should be no more than two A4 sheets and should be endorsed by his current teacher or Principal.
