Volunteering at CCGS

Are you interested in volunteering at Christ Church? The School is always appreciative of parents who are willing to offer their help in the coaching and management of teams or supporting other activities. We are always grateful for parents who have the skill and time to assist. Times can be flexible to suit other commitments you may have, and it is a great way to become involved in the CCGS community.

Parent Groups

A list of parent groups in the Christ Church community including the Parents' Association, the Parents' Auxiliary, the Don Fraser Club, Friends of the Walters Residential Community, Friends of Midnite and Friends of Music.

Centre For Ethics

Directed by the Chaplain, The Reverend Canon Frank Sheehan, the Centre for Ethics enables boys to engage in the community's conversation on matters of ethics and spirituality and the way the two connect. The Centre's regular lectures, workshops, seminar courses, newsletters and visitors bring the wider world into the school and help boys, parents and friends of the School to find meaning in what they do and in the way they live.

Pilgrimage of Hope

The Pilgrimage of Hope is a local, national and international service-based initiative co-ordinated by Christ Church Grammar School. It is the vision of Brother James, an Anglican Religious Brother and school counsellor at the School, who believes young people have a great yearning for a sustaining, spiritual experience.

Old Boys' Association

The Old Boys' Association is an active body and has since its foundation in 1917 contributed much to the development of the School. The Association is an independent organisation, administered by a committee of old boys who are elected on an annual basis. The committee is responsible for the running of the Association and the achievement of its objectives.
