The Great Rotto Adventure, Saturday 21 March

On Saturday 21 March, 21 kids of the boarding community plus five adults and Joshua Foster, underwent a recreation activity all the way to Rottnest Island. Everyone was excited for a full day out in the sun snorkeling and having fun around the settlement of Rottnest.

Sculptures by the Sea, Thursday 5 March

The Residential Community had it's first outing in the new 12 seater Toyota Hi Ace Commuter Bus to the "Sculptures by the Sea" art exhibition on Thursday. It was a perfect afternoon to go down to Cottesloe Beach, and the beach art was an added bonus. The new commuter bus will enable greater flexibility in quickly rounding up a group of enthusiastic boys to go 'out and about'.

Ski Tube River Race, Tuesday 24 February

The Ski Tube Race was held on Tuesday 24 February. Ed Mordt, Jamie Foster and Shane McGurk conducted the event with the support of four very capable Year 11 leaders.

Boarders at Senior School House Swimming Carnival

The Senior School House Swimming Carnival was held Thursday 19 February at Challenge Stadium with Hill House winning by five points from Jupp in a close contest. Wolsey House was placed third, followed by Queenslea, Noake, Moyes, Romsey and Craigie.

Face Painting Surprise BBQ A Big Hit

Boarding students were treated to an unexpected face painting and fairy floss evening at their regular Tuesday night barbeque last week. The event was an entertaining way to begin the first school week of the year in the Residential Community.

It was all about sombreros and chocolate on Tuesday night when the Christ Church and Methodist Ladies’ College residential communities enjoyed a dinner swap on both campuses.
