Tim Willoughby Outstanding Performance Award

At the Midnite-Drama Dinner on Friday 23 October and in the presence of His Excellency the Governor, the inaugural Tim Willoughby Outstanding Performance Award was presented to Ben Thomas (Year 11) for his role as Professor Higgins in “Pygmalion”, staged earlier this year.
The award commemorates the late Tim Willoughby, a former Chairman of The Friends of Midnite, and is the gift of his family, whose son Angus (Drama Captain 2007) presented the Glass Crystal engraved sculpture to Ben together with a certificate giving him six weeks' tuition in acting with the Perth Actors’ Collective.
The award will be made annually at the Drama Dinner. Ben was also appointed Captain of Drama 2010 at this event.
