Dale House take out victory at 2017 House Swimming Carnival
After two days of competition, Dale House are the 2017 Preparatory School House Swimming Champions. In one of the closest finishes, Dale finished on 1,236 points, followed by Stirling (1,232), Giles (1,175) and Forrest (1,162). Dale House was also awarded the Spirit Shield for demonstrating great sportsmanship and spirit at both carnivals. The presence of their Year 6 leaders at the Years 3 and 4 carnival was a wonderful new addition. read more
Digital Learning Day 2017
To celebrate the wonderful learning and teaching technologies at Christ Church the School will be participating in Digital Learning Day on 23 February. Christ Church is officially the first Australian school to register and host a Digital Learning Day event. read more
Exploring the world of biomes at Perth Zoo
Year 9 boys visit Perth Zoo on Wednesday 15 February to explore the world of biomes. The boys spent time learning about and observing animals and vegetation across three different biomes which they recently have been studying; Australian hot desert, Asian rainforest and the African savannah. read more
A showcase of the best at the Art Gallery of Western Australia
Year 12 Perspectives showcases works by some of Western Australia’s brightest and most talented graduating high school artists. This year’s exhibition features the work of three 2016 graduates - George Gare, Christian Wong and Jack Retallack. read more
Towards the stars and beyond
Our Year 11 cohort visited St George’s College last week as part of Ad Astra Day, an annual event providing boys with an opportunity to gain inspiration and guidance from a line-up of speakers. This year’s keynote speaker was former Christ Church Captain of School, Yannick Spencer (2005) who spoke to the boys about keeping things in perspective, maintaining flexibility, looking out for your friends, and accepting support. read more

A few old boys may be pulling up sore this week after a tough basketball match against the CCGS team over the weekend. Growing up in Bicton, Ashton Turner (2010) went to school at Christ Church. Under 10s was his first year of club cricket. “Growing up I was good but I wasn't really good. A lot of the guys on our team at the moment would have stood out a lot more than I did”, says Ashton. read more
Bringing smiles and love to the kids of Laos
Thanks to the generosity of parents at Christ Church and MLC, the Uniform Shop was recently able to pass on plenty of used uniforms to disadvantaged children in Laos. This was done through the aid of Global Hand, a WA-based charity which the School continues to proudly support. The kids' smiles said it all when they were gifted the uniforms. read more

Latest members to join the ’99 Club’
The ’99 Club’ recognises and celebrates our leaving students who achieve outstanding academic results in their ATAR. This year, during the School’s first assembly for 2017, 22 boys from the 2016 cohort were formally recognised in front of the entire Senior School and presented with certificates by Principal, Alan Jones. read more
