Tours and exchange programs
Beyond Queenslea Drive
Each year, Year 9 boys are invited to consider an immersion on one of the many exchange programs that occur in Year 10. Details of the available opportunities are available in August, placements are made in Term 4 and then the immersions take place in Terms 1, 2 and 3 of Year 10. For any queries about the program, please contact Director of Activities, Neil Saggers on 9442 1557. More information regarding the Beyond Queenslea Drive Exchange Program is available here.
Service in Action
Christ Church’s Service in Action (SIA) program inspires boys to achieve individual and collective excellence for others.
The program is based on the Christian call to serve others, especially those less fortunate than ourselves. Service opportunities include local, national and international experiences such as working in remote Aboriginal communities and with vulnerable children in Cambodia.
Consistent with the latest thinking and research, the idea of ‘community service’ has developed into the realisation that we learn a great deal through serving others, hence the term ‘service learning’. Those who serve in this way often report transformational experiences – especially when we have opportunities to be immersed in cultures very different to our own.

Tours
There are a broad range of tours available to various locations and with a broad range of age groups. Sports, languages, service and activity opportunities are available. Planning for these tours commences years in advance in many cases.
