  • Congratulations to our rowers
  • Celebrating a successful first term
  • Kooringal
  • Easter Service

Last Saturday the Head of the River was held at Champion Lakes, and all 12 of our rowing teams performed incredibly well. Our rowers have shown some good form throughout the intense season and Saturday was no exception. Congratulations to all rowers, coaches and parents and thank you to our wonderful supporters and members of the Don Fraser Club. You can re-live all the action of the First VIII race at the 02:30 time slot  here and view the results for the entire day here.

As always, the last few weeks have been anything but slow for members of our school community. Groups of students have left for overseas tours including to the USA and Singapore,  tours to the Maldives and Japan will be departing in April, the WADL Debating competition commenced and there was an excursion to Parliament House and Japanese students enjoyed an incursion dedicated to Rakugo. We also commenced work on our involvement in ANZAC Day commemorations which take place in April. Stories of these adventures and opportunities will no doubt grace the news section of our website and social media platforms in time.

Kooringal will be visited next week to survey the property following the fires in and around Dwellingup. The Kooringal team together with members of DFES did an outstanding job managing the situation last weekend.

Easter is a very important time of the year in the Christian calendar, it’s a time when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion. It’s a time of hope and I wish all families a wonderful Easter. The School’s popular Easter Service will be held on Sunday 31 March commencing at 9.30am. Reverend Nick Russell sends this special message to our community.

Please enjoy your Easter and break and we look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday 16 April.
