As we come to the close of Week 5 of Term 3, it is an ideal time to sit down together with your son(s) and reflect on the goals that were set aside at the start of the term. Please use the school diary to check your son’s progress and at the same time, reflect on his learning. Having high, but realistic expectations can all play a part in building the confidence of each student.

On Tuesday morning, our second parent forum took place in the Preparatory School Staff Room. It was great to see so many parents attend, increasing from last term. The parent forum provided an opportunity to hold a discussion with parents about a range of topics. These included: Preparatory School timetable, Champion Quest, Parent/Teacher interviews, assemblies and chapel, VHG, diary, streaming, social and emotional learning, assessment and reporting. Additionally, the staff have been reviewing these areas and developing strategies to further improve the Preparatory School teaching and learning program.

For parents of boys using the School’s shared bus services with Methodist Ladies’ College, please note that paper bus tickets are being phased out this term as the School has implemented a new tag on/tag off system. Further information is provided in this week’s year group notices.

Best wishes for the mid-term break!
