How to apply
Applications for Council Scholarships for Year 7 in 2026 will open on 22 November, 2024.
All applicants are required to register with Academic Assessment Services (AAS) if they wish to sit the scholarship examination on Saturday 22 February 2025. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Students must sit the examination at the school they have nominated as their first preference, and scholarship examination results are mailed to families when the scholarship offer process is completed.
Getting started
Complete the online registration with Academic Assessment Services. You will have the option to choose one or more of the following scholarships that you wish to apply for.
- Remote/Interstate/Overseas – closing Friday 7 February 2025 at 4.00pm (WST)
- Council Entrance Scholarships (Music) – closing Wednesday 12 February 2025 at 4.00pm (WST)

Please rank the school preferences by order and note that the applicant will be required to sit the examination at the school nominated as 1st preference. To increase the chances of being offered a place at Christ Church Grammar School, parents must list Christ Church as the 1st preference.
Remote, interstate and overseas applicants
For remote, interstate or overseas families, alternative application arrangements may be organised through Academic Assessment Services.
Selection process
Upon completion of all scholarship testing, we request that parents do not contact the School. Shortlisted scholarship applicants will be contacted in late March, 2025.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview and be required to submit the following documentation within 48 hours, or the interview will be forfeited:
- Two most recent school reports
- Year 5 NAPLAN results
All interviews will be conducted during late March or early April 2025.
