This week, the Preparatory School celebrated Access Asia Week – an event that exposes boys to the diversity of Asian cultures around the world and within the Christ Church community.

Co-ordinated by Chinese Language Teacher Li Liu, boys in the Preparatory School participated in numerous authentic experiences that promoted and celebrated Asian cultures.

“The purpose of Access Asia Week is to broaden students’ knowledge and understanding of Asian societies, cultures, beliefs and environment and the connections of people of Asia, Australia and the rest of the world,” said Li Liu.

The boys enjoyed Japanese drumming workshops, Chinese Diabolo demonstrations, mask making sessions, and a performance by our Guzheng ensemble during Assembly.
