This week marked the launch of the 2024 Gryphon Cup, an annual competition for our boarding students.

On Monday, all boarders and residential staff came together for the first community dinner followed by a Quiz Night. Throughout the evening, students put their trivia knowledge to the test with Stretch House taking out first place. Quiz nights are not only lots of fun, but also offer intellectual stimulation, teamwork, social interaction, competition, learning opportunities, confidence building and inclusivity.

Continuing the Gryphon Cup competition, students head to the Aquatic Precinct on Wednesday to participate in a range of pool events. The students enjoyed canoe water polo, relays, and the infamous Bombie competition. A perfect activity for a hot, summers night.

The Gyrphon Cup runs for the duration of the year and is a highlight in the calendar for our boarders.
