Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO visits the School

Last Friday was Archbishop’s Day at Christ Church, and the School was blessed to receive a visit from Archbishop of Perth the Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO.
During the morning the Archbishop attended the Year 12 mother and significant female and son event, hosted the Preparatory School Chapel Service and visited Year 6 boys in their classroom.
During the assembly Fergus Khoo (Year 6) and Oscar Brown (Year 6) were named as Chapel Captains for Term 4 2022. The boys interviewed Archbishop Kay with a wide range of enlightening questions about her role as the Archbishop of Perth all the way through to her favourite ice-cream.
Reverend Russell joined the Archbishop in visiting the Year 6 boys, where they provided some tips about the transition from the Preparatory School into the Senior School.
“As a leading Anglican boys’ school in Perth we are extremely fortunate to have a strong connection with Christ Church, Claremont and the Anglican Diocese,” said Principal Alan Jones.
“I want to thank the Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO for generously sharing her time and insight with the Christ Church community and we look forward to future opportunities to welcome the Archbishop to the School.”
