Christ Church journey begins with the ringing of the bell

At Christ Church Grammar School, the ringing of the bell is a cherished tradition that holds deep significance for both students and staff.
On their first day at the School, new students ring the bell to mark the exciting start of their educational journey as a Christ Church boy. It is a moment of anticipation as they step into a new chapter of growth and learning. Years later, as Year 12 students conclude their time at the School, once again they ring the bell, marking the completion of their journey and bringing their experience at Christ Church full circle.
This year, we warmly welcomed 84 new students to the Preparatory School and 118 students new to the Senior School. For these students, the ringing of the bell marks the beginning of their own unique journey at Christ Church, a journey they will one day look back on with pride.
