Jupp House boys embrace Kooringal adventure
Published on: 27 July 2023
Throughout the week, Year 9 boys from Jupp House have been enjoying a diverse range of activities at Kooringal, the School’s outdoor education campus located near Dwellingup. This nine-day camp sees the boys undertake extensive bushwalking and rogaining, working as a team to solve problems and make decisions. While navigating in the bushland can be challenging at times, providing boys with a safe environment to explore together offers a sense of adventure and an appreciation for nature.
Other fun activities on offer include canoeing, rock climbing, flying foxes, and nature study. The boys develop practical skills and self-reliance through cooking, cleaning, setting up camp, and gardening.
As the fourth House to head to Kooringal, the Jupp boys’ trip marks the halfway point for the Year 9 camps this year. Moyes, Queenslea, Wolsey and Hill are up next!
