Commencing next week, our Year 6 students take to centre stage in Camelot’s craziest musical adventure What a Knight!

Featuring in this production is a castle full of colourful characters, including King Arthur and his nutty knights, precocious princesses, a talking dragon, and the hilarious Merlin and his magic mirror.

Presented by The Midnite Youth Theatre Company and based on the book, music and lyrics by Craig Hawes, this well-loved legend comes to life under the direction of Preparatory School Drama Teacher, Mr Ryan Dawson.

“The students have thoroughly enjoyed working on this production with its witty lines and fun-loving characters,” says Ryan.

“The experience of taking a script and bringing it to final production on stage is a challenging yet very rewarding experience for the boys.”

The play will be performed in the School’s Drama Centre from 23 to 25 September at 6.30pm and all families are encouraged to come along for an enjoyable experience. Limited tickets are currently available for the Tuesday and Wednesday evening performances through trybooking.com/YOWC.
