Year 12 student James Ferguson was recently acknowledged for his final ATAR Design & Technology studies project of the year, which has placed him in the top 20 ‘student makers’ nationally. James is now in contention for the Australian Wood Review’s Maker of the Year Award.

Earlier this year we shared the news that Bailey Alcock, a current Year 12, is also in the running for the award for his Year 11 project.

Bailey’s current project, a beautiful rocking chair, will be on display at this year’s D&T Exhibition which opens tomorrow night.
