Last weekend the Rowing House Regatta was held with boys from across the years groups competing for glory on the water.

Three House Eights heats culminated in Romsey beating the competition to win the House Regatta.

During the award presentation the Rowing leadership team for 2022/23 was also announced, with Angus Park announced as Captain of Boats, Sam Singleton as Vice Captain of Boats, and Will Mawson and Frank Stevenson as committee members.

Rowing Coach Simon Cox was awarded life membership to the Don Fraser Club for his more than 21 years of service to the Christ Church rowing program.

Teacher in Charge of Rowing Warwick Yeates said it was great to see the Christ Church community gather to celebrate the Regatta.

“We were lucky to have good weather during the races, with calm waters.”

“It was fantastic to see so many boys in boats, many for the first time and some for the last time with Christ Church.”
