The Senior House Swimming Carnival took place on Tuesday afternoon with Romsey House taking out first place.

In the end it was Romsey House who claimed victory in convincing fashion with 810.5 points ahead of Wolsey (696), Hill (691), Queenslea (635), Jupp (628), Cragie (620), Noake (617.5), Moyes (613).

The annual inclusive race was also a big hit during the swimming carnival. The inclusive race is a great opportunity for our PMC boys to get in the pool, have a go and contribute to their House. In a highlight of the day, the entire school stopped to cheer on all the boys during the race.

One record was broken on the night with Sam Hicks (Year 10) winning the Under 16 50m Backstroke, setting a new school record time of 28.48 seconds.

The official swim team now look forward to representing the School at the PSA Inters and hopefully, retaining the PSA swimming title.

This year’s PSA Inters will be held at HBF Stadium on Thursday 9 March.
