Before the end of Term 3 our Army Cadet Unit conducted the First Cadet Field Exercise, the first conducted nationwide amid the Covid-19 crisis. Our cadets were joined by St Hilda’s and Guildford Grammar Army Cadet Units, working in collaboration to achieve training objectives in Command Post Management, Navigation, Observation Posts and First Aid. WA Cadet Brigade Commander, Colonel David Jones, visited with his staff and were briefed into the exercise by our Adjutant, Cadet Under Officer David Jones (no relation).

It was great to get back into the field and train – that is what cadets is all about.
