Christ Church Head of Mathematics, Ms Megan West said, “It was a tough morning of mathematics and we are extremely proud of these boys’ achievements in the mathematical domain.”

“We had three students in the top four for individual scores with Jeremiah and Andy ranked equal 2nd for Year 7s.”

“Joshua and Andy returned from Melbourne recently where both received medals for their achievements in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC).”

“Many of our boys who competed achieved scores above the state average and we had four boys receive prizes – a great result and testimony to our teaching program at Christ Church.”

Christ Church performed strongly at this year’s AMC which saw three Prizes and 17 High Distinctions awarded to its students in Years 3 to 6. Also receiving High Distinctions in the Mathematics Enrichment Competition at the Euler and Noether level were students Jeremiah Wang and Joshua Chen.
