In the spirit of fundraising, over 100 boys took part in the Jupp House Jog last weekend at Port Beach to raise funds for WA-based not for profit, zero2hero.

The boys were fortunate to race under bright and sunny conditions commencing at 9.00am in Fremantle. All boys were looking to improve on their previous times as they completed the 1.8km looped beach run.

Year 12 House Prefect Ben Perkins was the Jupp Jog Champion, completing the course in 6 minutes and 17 seconds, narrowly defeating Charlie Offer, who had previously won the event two years running.

“Jupp House has already raised over $5000 for zero2hero and, with a number of donations still to come, are well on the way to breaking the $6000 fundraising target set by the House at the start of 2017,” says Head of Jupp House, Todd Harnwell.

Zero2hero is an incorporated association dedicated to increasing the understanding of mental health issues and the awareness of mental health services among children and young people through innovative programs, events and education.
