Moyes snatches victory in House Swimming

Moyes House won the Senior School House Swimming Carnival held at HBF Stadium on Tuesday night. Moyes claimed victory from Romsey House in the final relays.
With 762 points, Moyes won the Lapinski-McCoubrie Cup in a tight contest ahead of last year’s winners Romsey on 744, followed by Noake (692), Wolsey (680.5), Craigie (655), Jupp (641), Hill (622) and Queenslea (513).
Year 11 student Thomas Pennell (M) set a new school record in the Under 17 50m Butterfly of 28.25, breaking Lawrence Mitchell of Noake’s 2014 record of 28.37. Romsey House set a new record in the Under 17 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay (1:53.87) breaking Romsey’s 2014 record of 1:55.95.
