Our greatest asset is our staff. We prioritise the health and wellbeing of our students and staff, and are always looking for ways to support the health and wellbeing of our staff. Last week, staff enjoyed a community yoga session with students, as part of Christ Church Mental Health Week. For R U OK? Day today, they will gather for a special morning tea to connect and share homemade treats. This event was a result of positive feedback from our Cancer Council World’s Biggest Morning Tea, noting that it was a great opportunity to socialise with colleagues from other departments outside of weekly staff briefings. Earlier this month, the Parents’ Association generously hosted a staff lunch in Sandover in recognition of World Staff Day.

Throughout the year, Christ Church staff are offered free flu vaccinations, conveniently located on campus, financial services assistance regarding Superannuation, retirement, and salary packaging, counselling services offered through our Employee Assistance Program, and social events hosted by our Staff Association. These initiatives foster a strong sense of community among staff, promote physical exercise, and support the mental wellbeing of our staff.
