It’s been a big week of athletics in the Senior School, with the House Athletics Carnival last Friday, the Ray House Run, and the Gift Race.

Kicking off last Wednesday with the Ray House Run, students from each House in Years 7 to 12 went head to head to claim glory, with Moyes ultimately coming out on top. Individual race winners and results are listed here.

The less than ideal weather conditions on Friday did not dampen spirits at the House Athletics Carnival, with all participants relishing the opportunity to compete for their House and embrace the spirit of fun and competition that the day is all about. Congratulations to Romsey on taking out first place. For all photos and results, click here.

The week of athletics events ended on Tuesday with the CCGS Gift – an annual sprint that sees a mix of competitors from Years 5 to 12 go head to head on the oval, with their peers cheering from the sidelines. Massey Doolan (Year 12) narrowly came out on top in a thrilling event. We look forward to supporting our athletes in the upcoming PSA Inters Athletics carnival.
