Over 80 band members from the School’s Rock Workshop impressed the audience on Sunday as they took to the Chapel forecourt to perform original and covers of ‘Rock’ favourites in this year’s Rock Workshop Extravaganza.

Fourteen bands, comprised of boys from Years 2 to 11, performed popular hits by artists including Led Zeppelin, Sting and The Beatles.

Director of Music, Mr Kevin Gillam commented, “The afternoon was a wonderful culmination of the talents and hard work the bands have been putting in throughout the year.”

“The opportunity to perform in front of family and friends, and listen to performances from other bands is such a great experience for the students.”

A huge thank you to all of the Music Department and Rock Workshop teachers for working with the students to prepare them for this year’s performance, as well as our Friends of Music (FoM) parent volunteers who provided food and drinks during the event.
