Former student wins Carrera Cup championship

West Australian racing star Jordan Love is headed for Germany and Finland following an impressive championship win at the Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup.
Love finished 5th in the 17-lap encounter, propelling him to secure this year’s title.
The former Christ Church Grammar School student was recently awarded 2019 Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup Champion, winner of the Michelin Junior Championship, and Porsche Endurance Cup at the 2019 Carrera Cup Awards Dinner held at the prestigious QT Hotel on the Gold Coast.
Also competing in the event was Jordan’s younger brother and current Christ Church student Aaron Love (Year 12) who finished just behind the overall series winner.
Jordan’s latest wins include a trip to the Porsche Night of Champions Dinner in Germany, a trip to the Porsche Ice Experience in Finland and season entry for the 2020 Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup Australia season.
On his recent achievements, 20-year old Jordan commented, “It’s been an awesome journey and I can’t put it into words how this feels right now. I’m incredibly proud of the team and everyone that has helped me get to where we are today. It’s been an awesome journey.”
