Andrew McGowan (1978) has taken up an appointment at Yale University in the United States after some years as Warden of Trinity College at the University of Melbourne – where a significant number of recent CCGS old boys have gone to study. An historian of early Christianity, Andrew’s most recent book titled Ancient Christian Worship (Baker Academic) will be published this month. His new appointment, as Professor of Anglican Studies and Dean of the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, involves leadership of the program for students seeking ordination in the Episcopal (Anglican) tradition, as well as teaching and research in the wider ecumenical context at Yale.
